Notebook Reviews: TOWN & COUNTRY
Peter Chelsom – 2001
Town & Country is a criminally under-rated movie which was over shadowed by its troubled production. This Warren Beatty led screwball comedy is great fun and the cast is wonderful – Beatty is joined by Diane Keaton, Goldie Hawn, Garry Shandling, Andie MacDowell, Jenna Elfman, Nastassja Kinski and the great Charlton Heston.
The major gripe with Town & Country is that it’s difficult to see where they spent $100 million, but hey, that’s Hollywood for you.
When all is said and done, Town & Country is simply great entertainment for grown-ups. One to look out for!
