Irish-born Niall Browne started Movies In Focus in 2012. Based in the UK, Niall has written extensively about film for over fifteen years and conducted interviews with many key figures across the industry. He has spoken about film at public events and on radio and covered numerous entertainment and awards ceremonies such as the British Academy Film Awards and the BFI London Film Festival. Niall is also a Rotten Tomatoes approved critic and the host of the Movies In Focus Podcast.

In the past Niall has written for some of the internet’s most popular film sites including Screen Rant, Collider, CC2K Online, Movie Hole, Movie Scope Magazine and Contact Music. He is also a scriptwriter, having co-written the short film Capricious as well as other screenplays. Niall curated and introduced John Carpenter and Superhero film seasons at the National Justice Museum.

Movies In Focus gives readers an experienced look at the world of film, putting the focus on the most recent releases along with classic movies and cult favourites.
