This trailer for Ryan Phillippe action flick The 2ND is giving off some serious Die Hard vibes. The film from director Brian Skiba sees Ryan Phillippe facing-off against Casper Van Dien when he attempts to pick-up his son from College. I even think it takes place at Christmas.

I’m having trouble picturing Phillippe as a grizzled Secret Service Agent who kicks terrorist ass – but that’s what they said about Bruce Willis back in 1988. And look what happened there.
