Trailer For AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Lacks Event Movie Status

The Marvel movie bubble isn’t going to burst anytime soon (I keep writing about fatigue but it hasn’t come…yet). Each movie keeps making more and more money at the box office but even the biggest Marvel fans will have to admit that Avengers: Age of Ultron lacks the excitement of what made the first movie so special – iconic superheroes teaming up onscreen for the first time (it was also rather good).

It’ll likely make over $1 billion at the global box office – but this trailer looks more like business as usual than the full-blown event that The Avengers (Assemble) was back in 2012.

Avengers: Age of Ultron opens in April 2015.
