Marvel Phase Three: Sequels, Spin-offs, Black Panther & New AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Clip

Marvel Studios has announced its Phase Three movie plans and the Marvel fanboys can’t contain themselves. ‘This is wonderful news’ the say, ‘it’s brilliant’. I say it’s overkill – do we really need a 2-part Avengers sequel?

This is the line-up:

May 6, 2016 — Captain America: Civil War
Nov. 4, 2016 — Doctor Strange
May 5, 2017 — Guardians of the Galaxy 2
July 28, 2017 — Thor: Ragnarok
Nov. 3, 2017 — Black Panther
May 4, 2018 — Avengers: Infinity War Part I
July 6, 2018 — Captain Marvel
Nov. 2, 2018 — Inhumans
May 3, 2019 — Avengers: Infinity War Part II

That’s a lot of superhero movies. It’s also a lot of sequels and spin-offs. I’m sure there will be additions to this line-up this along the way.

This big news is that Chadwick Boseman is playing Black Panther – the lack of news is that Doctor Strange still hasn’t been announced, even though Benedict Cumberbatch is now the hot favourite.
