Stanley Kubrick‘s 2001: A Space Odyssey is a splendid and spectacular slice of science fiction for grown-ups. The special effects are tremendous, the soundtrack is excellent and the performances are great. This is the complete package.
Thought-provoking and enjoyable, 2001: A Space Odyssey doesn’t give its audience the easy way out – especially with its ambiguous ending. There’s a reason why Kubrick’s film is highly regarded as a classic.
