Nancy Meyers‘ Something’s Gotta Give is a brilliant old-fashioned romantic comedy which has similar vibes to The Philadelphia Story. There’s a relaxed and loose feel to the whole thing which make the film hugely watchable and very entertaining. 

Jack Nicholson plays Jack Nicholson, Diane Keaton plays Diane Keaton and Keanu Reeves plays a human being for the first time .

Something’s Gotta Give is a classy grown-up comedy which has much to recommend. It’s a pity that they don’t make more movies like this!
