Trailer: Darren Aronofsky Embraces His Inner Roman Polanski With MOTHER!
It really looks like Darren Aronofsky is embracing his inner Roman Polanski for mother! (the shadow of Rosemary’s Baby looms large here) Aronofsky is always challenging expectations and you really don’t know what he’s going to do next. Pi, Requiem For A Dream, The Fountain, The Wrestler, Black Swan and Noah – they’re all interesting films – no matter what you think about them.
Mother! looks good – and the cast which is made up of Jennifer Lawrence, Javier Bardem, Michelle Pfeiffer and Ed Harris is impressive. This should be great.
