There’s A Stranger Things Vibe To This Trailer For LET US IN

There’s a real 1980s Amblin/Stranger Things vibe to this trailer for Let Them In. It looks like it might be a good ‘gateway movie’ for getting kids of a certain age into genre movies. It’s a family film, but it might just have enough creepiness to make it worthwhile. 

Makenzie Moss, Sadie Stanley, Mackenzie Ziegler, Siena Agudong, O’Neill Monahan and genre icon Tobin Bell star in Let Them In which was directed by Craig Moss. It hits On Demand and digital on 2 July 2021. 

The synopsis:

A spirited twelve year old girl and her best friend look to uncover the sudden disappearances of several missing teens in their small town. Realizing there might be something deeper happening, Emily and Christopher might be up against forces they can’t even imagine. Based on the urban legend “The Black Eyed Kids.”
