Michael and Shawn Rasmussen penned the script to John Carpenter’s last cinematic effort The Ward and the directed the interesting horror Dark Feed, which Movies In Focus called ‘an old-fashioned chiller that puts tension before gore‘. The duo has wrapped shooting on their next feature The Inhabitants – and they’ve just launched an Indiegogo campaign to raise funds for the film’s finishing touches and marketing.

‘The film revolves around a young couple that gets more than they bargained for when they purchase and renovate an old bed and breakfast in New England. A series of troubling events leads the husband to suspect that something terrible is hiding within the walls of this house, and whatever it is has set its sights on his wife.’

Here’s a cool bit of cultural/historical/literary trivia – the film was shot in New England and the main location was The Noyes-Parris House, the former home of Reverend Samuel Parris. His daughter Betty and niece Abigail Williams were the girls who made the initial accusations that led to the witch trials in Salem, Massachusetts. This was then covered by Arthur Miller’s play (and the subsequent film) The Crucible.

This is your chance to take part in the making of a movie – and scoring some interesting goodies in the process. You can donate from $5 to $1500 and away with everything ranging from T-shirts and DVDs to Tooth-Encrusted Charm or a Birthing Chair!

Be a part of the horror and visit the Indiegogo page for The Inhabitants.
