Are You Brave Enough To Go Into The Woods For This Peek At LITTLE DEAD ROTTING HOOD?
Movies In Focus is a sucker for a werewolf movie – and that means Little Dead Rotting Hood (or Dead Red) is now on the site’s radar. The low budget horror is a modern day retelling of Little Red Riding Hood ‘with a genre twist’.
Directed by Jared Cohn and written by Gabriel Campisi (who also produces), Little Dead Rotting Hood has an eclectic cast made up of Eric Balfour, Bianca Santos, Romeo Miller, Patrick Muldoon, Heather Tom and Marina Sirtis.
Campisi had this to say about the film, which will shoot for another two weeks in Los Angeles:
“Everyone is familiar with Little Red Riding Hood, her grandmother and the big bad wolf. We’ve all heard the stories. But what if there was more to all the characters? What if they weren’t who we thought they were? And what if we threw in a little bit of the supernatural and set the story in the present?”
Cohn teases on what we might see:
”There’s a lot of horror and action in this movie, and we have some pretty intense scenes we’re covering. I think audiences will be surprised. There are a lot of things they won’t see coming, both visually and story-wise.”
