If 2020 has taught us anything, then it is to expect the unexpected. First came news that Zack Snyder was finally getting to complete his #Snydercut of Justice League. Then came the announcement that Michael Keaton was returning as Batman in The Flash movie. After that news broke that Ben Affleck was coming back as Batman to join Michael Keaton in The Flash.
Now comes word that Jared Leto’s Joker – last seen in 2016’s Suicide Squad – has joined the reshoots for Zack Snyder’s Justice League. According to THR Leto is now filming on Snyder’s film alongside Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher and Amber Heard (what, no Gal Gadot or Henry Cavill?)
Also comes word that Justice League producers, Jon Berg and Geoff Johns will not be credited on his new iteration of the film because they did not work on this version and are no longer studio executives.
What’s next people, what’s next?
Justice League hits HBO Max in 2021.
