The Best Scene In Tim Burton’s BATMAN

There’s much to enjoy in Tim Burton’s Batman. The 1989 release is packed with wonderful production design from Anton Furst, a brilliant Danny Elfman score and great performances from everyone in the cast. Not bad for a movie which was shot on-the-hoof without a completed script.

The best moment in the movie comes after Michael Keaton‘s Batman rescues Vicki Vale (Kim Basinger) from the Jack Nicholson‘s Joker. It’s a hypnotic scene showing Batman and Vale making their way to the Batcave. Running just a minute and a half, the scene is packed with atmosphere, all cut to Danny Elfman’s glorious Descent Into Mystery music cue.

Enjoy…
