THE AVENGERS Makes A Bang At The Box Office; Biggest Opening Weekend Ever!

Marvel’s mighty The Avengers made a Hulk style smash at the box office on Friday – scoring about $80 million worth of green – the second biggest day ever. The rest of the weekend is shaping up to be the biggest opening weekend ever!

It looks like the comic book movie will bank over $175 million for the weekend, (besting The Dark Knight and Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2 which scored $169 million. It should have a $575 million global haul by Monday morning. Kerching!
