Notebook Reviews: TRUE CRIME
Clint Eastwood – 1999
True Crime is an enjoyable, but cliched thriller from director/star Clint Eastwood (who plays a smart-ass, womanising reporter). It has a few nice touches and James Woods is very good (his role should have been much bigger) but you’ve seen this race-against-time thriller a dozen times before.
True Crime isn’t one of Eastwood’s finest films, but it’s a passable enough flick that will do in a pinch.
