Stanley Kubrick – 1960
Stanley Kubrick‘s Spartacus is a first-rate epic which is filled with some great visuals and strong performances. This is truly filmmaking on an epic scale and one of the finest in a genre filled with greats.
The script for this 1960 release crackles and it’s expertly delivered by Kirk Douglas, Laurence Oliver, Peter Ustinov and the rest of the cast.
Spartacus is rightfully seen as an all-time classic – and it should be seen by you.
