James Dearden – 1999

A surprisingly entertaining financial yarn based on the true-life story of banker Nick Leeson. At times Rogue Trader is a touch too technical, but Dearden creates some decent tension throughout. Ewan McGregor is solid and he has some good moments as things begin to unravel.

This is a good British movie that deserves more love that it got on its initial release.
