Notebook Reviews: FLIPPER

Alan Shapiro – 1996

1 out of 5 stars

What is Paul Hogan doing in this? Flipper is joke-less, thrifl-less and basically script-less. Everything about Alan Shapiro’s film is substandard. Clunky exposition and multiple cliches make Flipper difficult to watch. Is it any wonder it bombed at the box office?

Not even Hogan’s charm can keep this stinker afloat. Apart from one or two good moments, there’s nothing to recommend here. Look for your entertainment elsewhere.
