Kevin Costner – 1991

Unfairly mocked in the lead-up to it’s release, Kevin Costner‘s multi Oscar-winning epic still stands the test of time after all these years.

Dances With Wolves is still perfect in every way. The performances in this western are wonderfully pitched, the vistas stunning and John Barry‘s score is beautiful. 

When all the elements come together in the right way, a film can be very special – and Dances With Wolves is a masterpiece.
