Notebook Reviews: THE SCORE
Frank Oz – 2001
The Score sees a great cast heading-up an old-fashioned caper film from director Frank Oz. Young upstart Edward Norton steals the honours from acting greats Robert De Niro and Marlon Brando.
A slick and well made film, The Score is a change of pace for a director best known for making light-hearted comedy films – and voicing the likes of Miss Piggy and Yoda.
The pace is slow at the beginning, but The Score really picks up for a nail biting climax.
