Is THE PEST With John Leguizamo The Worst Film Ever Made?

I’ve seen a lot of bad, bad movies but the worst I’ve ever seen must be Paul Miller’s The Pest (1997)

Riffing on the odd combination of The Most Dangerous Game and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, The Pest is supposedly a showcase for John Leguizamo’s so-called comedic talents. Leguizamo also ‘produces’ and has a ‘story’ credit (yeah, right). It turns out that it’s just a showcase for why he shouldn’t be on screen – or even allowed behind the camera.

What is Jeffery Jones doing in this thing? Jones has been accused of some awful things over the years but it’s likely this film is a career nadir.

The Pest is a total disaster. Avoid like the cinematic plague. It’s offensive.
