There’s something about horror and the Christmas season that goes so well together. If you agree with that statement then you’ll be interested in Good Tidings. Here’s the (corking) official synopsis:
‘A homeless war-veteran with a chequered past must rely on a side of himself once thought buried when he and his companions are targeted on Christmas Day by three vicious psychopaths in Santa suits.’
The film, written and conceived by Stu Jopia, Giovanni Gentile and director Stuart W. Bedford is inspired by the exploitation of the ‘70s and ’80s – classics like Black Christmas, Halloween, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Silent Night Deadly Night and Assault on Precinct 13 have been name-checked.
Good Tidings shoots soon in Liverpool for a Christmas 2016 release and Movies In Focus will keep you posted on all developments. In the meantime you can get excited by the below publicity art.
