It has been announced that filming has begun on Christopher Nolan‘s latest cinematic extravaganza, Tenet.
The film, which is described as an action epic evolving from the world of international espionage will star John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, Kenneth Branagh – and Nolan good luck charm Michael Caine.
Sounds like Nolan is getting his Bond on again.
Set for a worldwide July 17, 2020 release, the film was written by Nolan and it will be shot using a mixture of IMAX and 70mm film.
According to the press release:
Nolan’s behind-the-scenes creative team includes director of photography Hoyte van Hoytema, production designer Nathan Crowley, editor Jennifer Lame, costume designer Jeffrey Kurland, and visual effects supervisor Andrew Jackson. The score is being composed by Ludwig Göransson.
Expect a lot of secrecy on this until the marketing ramps up. Nolan isn’t one for sharing until these things are ready to open.
