TRIPLETS Gets A Pair Of Writers – Twins Sequel On The Way

News of Triplets first broke in March. Many thought that the idea of a Twins sequel starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Danny DeVito and Eddie Murphy was just too crazy/high-concept/far-fetched (delete where applicable) to believe. Well, the film has now snagged a pair of writers.

Josh Gad and Ryan Dixon have been hired by Universal Pictures to pen a treatment for the film which would see Schwarzenegger and DeVito (Julius and Vincent) discovering they have third sibling – Eddie Murphy.

Ivan Reitman, who directed the original 1988 film will produce Triplets, which will likely hit screens if the starring trio are happy with the script. It must be noted that at one point Schwarzenegger, DeVito and Reitman all thought that Junior was a good idea, while a glance at Murphy’s filmography will show a man of highly questionable comedic taste.

Triplets will either be genius or a disaster.
