Trailer: The Wonderfully Uplifting Music Documentary ECHO IN THE CANYON Hits The UK In June
Movies In Focus was lucky enough to catch Andrew Slater’s Echo In The Canyon last May. The music documentary is an exceptional journey into the music scene in and around LA’s Laurel Canyon in the the mid-to-late 1960s (read the review).
It’s a tremendously entertaining and uplifting documentary, which is guided by Jakob Dylan, as he interviews the likes of Brian Wilson, Stephen Stills, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, David Crosby, Roger McGuinn and Lou Adler, as well as Jackson Browne and the late, great Tom Petty. It also features some wonderful covers of iconic ’60s tunes by artists such as Dylan, Beck, Cat Power and Regina Spektor.
Now Echo In The Canyon is gearing-up for a UK release on 8 June 2020.
