Trailer: New Thriller Sees Mel Gibson & Kevin Dillon In The HOT SEAT
Count me in for any film starring the mighty Mel Gibson – and count me in extra quick when it’s a movie with Mel Gibson where he plays a grizzled cop. That means I’m ready for Hot Seat, Gibson’s latest thriller which co-stars Kevin Dillon, Shannen Doherty and Sam Asghari.
Say what you want about Gibson – but he’s an actor who never phones in a pefrormance (despite what the above photo might indicate).
Directed by James Cullen Bressack, Hot Seat is set to hit U.S. cinemas, On Digital and On Demand on 1 July, 2022.
The Synopsis:
Oscar-winner Mel Gibson brings this explosive cyber-thriller to life. The action begins as IT expert Friar (Kevin Dillon, Poseidon) finds a hair-trigger bomb strapped to his desk chair. An unseen hacker orders him to steal digital funds online—or have his daughter abducted. As a fearless bomb expert (Gibson) arrives on the scene, the hacker frames Friar as the bomber. The tension mounts as Friar races to clear his name and expose the real terrorist—without getting himself blown to smithereens.
