Will We Finally Get To See THE NEW MUTANTS This August?

Director Josh Boone started filming The New Mutants way back in July 2017. After a difficult shoot, the X-Men spin-off reportedly underwent reshoots to change the film’s tone. The comic book movie then got bumped around the release schedule for a myriad of reasons, the most recent being the 20th Century Fox merger with Disney.

Starring Maisie Williams, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Heaton, Alice Braga, Blu Hunt and Henry Zaga, The New Mutants was originally set to open on 13 April, 2018, before being delayed to 22 February, 2019 and then to 2 August, 2019.

It should finally see the light of day on 28 August 2020. Maybe.
