Nobody is ever going to tell Nicolas Winding Refn what to do. He might have flirted with the mainstream with Drive but Only God Forgives showed that he wasn’t going to sell his soul to Hollywood.

It’s difficult to tell what The Neon Demon will be like from this trailer – but it’ll sure be interesting.

Here’s the synopsis which gives away very little:

‘When aspiring model Jesse moves to Los Angeles, her youth and vitality are devoured by a group of beauty-obsessed women who will use any means necessary to get what she has.’

The Neon Demon stars Elle Fanning, Keanu Reeves, Christina Hendricks, Bella Heathcote, Abbey Lee and Jena Malone.
