THE OUT-LAWS Trailer Has A Great Pierce Brosnan/James Bond Joke
Netflix’s The Out-Laws looks like a fun crime-comedy. Of course, Movies In Focus is already set for the Tyler Spindel-directed flick because it features the mighty Pierce Brosnan – and Ellen Barkin, Michael Rooker and Richard Kind are also great added value. From the looks of this trailer (which seems to give away the entire plot), it looks like Adam Devine could be very annoying, but I’m willing to overlook that because the ‘grown-ups’ in the film are old pros.
Anyway, the highlight of this trailer comes at the 1 minute and 45 seconds mark – where there’s a great Pierce Brosnan/James Bond gag. I won’t ruin it, but if I was on the fence, then that joke made sure that I’d be tuning into The Out-Laws when it drops on Netflix on 7th July 2023. Check out the trailer below…
The synopsis:
Owen Browning (Adam Devine) is a straight-laced bank manager about to marry the love of his life, Parker (Nina Dobrev). When his bank is held up by the infamous Ghost Bandits during his wedding week, he believes his future in-laws (Pierce Brosnan and Ellen Barkin) who just arrived in town, are the infamous Out-Laws.
