The stats don’t lie. The COVID-19 pandemic saw a huge spike in people using SVOD during lockdown and it seems like the numbers are continuing to stay high now that lockdown has started to ease.
With a lot of cinemas still closed, it would seem that people are continuing to use streaming services such as Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+ to fulfil their entertainment viewing needs.
