The Long-Awaited Trailer For SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Is Here
Those looking to catch a glimpse of Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield in the long-awaited first trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home are going to be very disappointed. You do get to see Alfred Molina‘s Doctor Octopus though – which ties this new web slinging adventure into the Sam Raimi movies featuring Maguire.
However, a lot of eager fans would have had a taste of this trailer because it leaked on 22 August 2021 – apparently by way of a visual effects bod. It was very poor quality, with unfinished effects – but I imagine heads rolled for that one.
Where do I stand on Spider-Man: No Way Home? Well, it looks well made and I’d be interested to see how (and if) they work Garfield and Maguire into proceedings. Movies In Focus readers will know that I only really care about seeing how Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck can both play Batman in The Flash. Now that’s what I’m really excited about.
Starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Favreau, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei and directed by Jon Watts – Spider-Man: No Way Home hits cinemas on 17 December 2021.
The synopsis:
