The great Stephen Dorff has joined the Hawaiian shoot of Paradise City, the film which sees John Travolta and Bruce Willis share the screen for the first time since Quentin Tarantino‘s 1994 masterpiece Pulp Fiction. Blake Jenner has also joined the cast of the Chuck Russell directed thriller.
According to Deadline:
Willis plays renegade bounty hunter, Ryan Swan, who must carve his way through the Hawaiian crime world to wreak vengeance on the kingpin, played by Travolta, who murdered his father. I’m told the project is billed as being similar to Miami Vice but with bounty hunters instead of cops. Thai actress and model Praya Lundberg has landed the lead female role.
Producer Corey Large has been hoping to make the film since 2006. Large has produced several Willis films of the last few years, including Cosmic Sin, Breach, Marauders, Acts of Violence, First Kill, Extraction, Vice, The Prince and Precious Cargo. He co-wrote Paradise City with Ed John Drake and he’ll also take on a role on the film.
