THE BATMAN Pauses Filming After Robert Pattinson Reportedly Tests Positive For COVID-19

News broke on 3 September that filming on The Batman had once again been shut down after a member of the crew tested positive for COVID-19. Now it is being reported that the crew member in question is the film’s star – Robert Pattinson

Warner Bros. has not given any specifics and they will not confirm who the member of the crew is, but Vanity Fair and The Hollywood Reporter have stated that it is Pattinson.

How this affects the production on The Batman is anyone’s guess. COVID-19 impacts people in different ways, so Pattisnon could be back on set in a few weeks – or it could be more serious. Either way, it’s another big blow to the production which is set it open on 1 October, 2021. We’ll see if it still hits that targeted release date.

The Batman stars Robert Pattison, Colin Farrell, Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Andy Serkis and Peter Sarsgaard.
