Production On Matt Reeves’ THE BATMAN Paused After Crew Member Tests Positive With COVID-19

Matt Reeves’ The Batman only resumed filming at Leavesden on 1 September after production shut-down on 14 March when the Coronavirus pandemic started to sweep the globe. However, after just three days, filming has paused once again after a crew member tested positive for COVID-19.

UPDATED: The crew member in question is Robert Pattinson.

Warner Bros. released the below statement:

“A member of The Batman production has tested positive for Covid-19, and is isolating in accordance with established protocols. Filming is temporarily paused.”

No further details have been released and it’s not known when filming will recommence. 

The Batman starring Robert Pattison, Colin Farrell, Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Andy Serkis and Peter Sarsgaard is scheduled to open on 1 October, 2021.
