Thriller aficionados have been eagerly awaiting the release of Adrian Lyne’s new film Deep Water. The erotic thriller is Lyne’s first film in 20 years and it sounds like it will fit perfectly beside his previous marriage in peril movies like Indecent Proposal, Unfaithful and Fatal Attraction.
Deep Water is an adaptation of Patricia Highsmith‘s novel of the same name and it stars Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas as a mistrusting couple who get caught up in a murder plot. The film will hit Prime Video in the UK and Hulu in the U.S. on 18 March 2022.
Filmed in 2019, Deep Water was originally set to be released on November 2020, but was delayed to August 2021 and then to to January 2022. Tracy Letts, Rachel Blanchard, Dash Mihok, Lil Rel Howery, Jacob Elordi, Finn Wittrock, and Kristen Connolly co-star.
