The Universal picture will specifically cover Armstrong’s life from 1961-1969, and is described as a “visceral, first-person account” that explores “the sacrifices and the cost — on Neil and on the nation — of one of the most dangerous missions in history.”
Spotlight scripter Josh Singer has written the script based on James R. Hansen’s book First Man: The Life of Neil A. Armstrong.
I like Gosling and Chapelle – but I find it difficult to get excited about this. What can it bring to the table that The Right Stuff and Apollo 13 hasn’t? Feel free to tell me I’m wrong.
