We all kind of guessed that Denis Villeneuve’s Blade Runner follow-up wouldn’t be called Blade Runner 2 (numbered sequels are so passé) and now we know that this sequel to Ridley Scott’s iconic science fiction film will be titled Blade Runner 2049.

A new behind the scenes pic his been released showing Villeneuve and Ridley Scott having a grand old time with stars Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling. Note the Blade Runner props on the table.

Blade Runner 2049 opens on 6 October 2017.
