Notebook Reviews: VAMPIRES

3.5 out of 5 stars

John Carpenter  – 1998

John Carpenter‘s Vampires might not be as good as some of his early classics like Escape From New York, The Thing or Big Trouble In Little China  but it’s still solid fun.

The Tex-Mex setting echoes From Dusk Till Dawn and James Woods is on fine form in the lead role. It isn’t highbrow entertainment, but Vampires has a lot to offer and the set pieces are great,

Good B-movie fun!
