Poster For New Deep Water Horror THE DARK BELOW

Douglas Schulze is a director who likes to push the boundaries of horror. Films like Mimesis and The Dark Fields show a man who understands the conventions of the genre, but who also wants to try and tackle something interesting within these confines.

The Dark Below once again sees Schulze take horror into new depths, shooting the film in the freezing winter lakes of Michigan.

Check out the poster for the forthcoming chiller, which will premiere at Montreal’s Fantasia International Film Festival this summer.
