Notebook Reviews: THE GODFATHER
Francis Ford Coppola – 1972
The Godfather is Francis Ford Coppola‘s epic masterpiece. Coppola’s 1972 adaptation of Mario Puzo’s novel is richly textured with top-notch acting from a brilliant cast (Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, Robert Duvall and Diane Keaton).
The Godfather has drama, suspense and some intrcredible set pieces. The script is filled with fantastic dialogue which helps define the characters and theviolence is there to bring across the savageness of the world they inhibit.
This is an offer you can’t refuse.
