Notebook Reviews: PUSHING TIN
Mike Newell – 1999
The ever-reliable John Cusack stars in this witty black comedy from director Mike Newell. Pushing Tin features some great performance and it has some truly hilarious moments. Billy Bob Thornton is good as the psycho air traffic controller and he’s the perfect foil to Cusasck’s neurotic lead.
It’s a shame that Pushing Tin didn’t find an audience, because it’s up there with Cusack’s Grosse Point Blank and High Fidelity. Worth catching.
