Notebook Reviews: ENTRAPMENT

Jon Amiel – 1999

The great Sean Connery proves that he still has what it takes to headline a an action-thriller with this slick cat and mouse thriller from director Jon Amiel. Catherine Zeta-Jones is also very good as the co-lead – but the rest of the cast come across as a little underused (Will Patton and Ving Rhames deserve more screen time).

Admittedly, Entrapment lacks depth and the opening is a little soulless, but this is a fun thriller once it kicks into high gear.
