Notebook Reviews: DIAL M FOR MURDER
Alfred Hitchcock – 1954
The great Alfred Hitchcock‘s Dial M For Murder is a superb thriller which features a fantastic role for Ray Milland (Grace Kelly is also wonderful). The whole thing is pure tension, with event after event piled on top – yet it all feels totally plausible.
Dial M For Murder holds up incredibly well (it hasn’t really dated) and it’s much better than the 1998 remake, A Perfect Murder starring Michael Douglas and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Pure edge-of-your-eat entertainment.
