New PREDATOR Movie From 10 Cloverfield Lane Director Dan Trachtenberg
Do we need a new Predator film? No. However, you can’t keep a good franchise down.
News has broke that 20th Century Studios has hired 10 Cloverfield Lane director Dan Trachtenberg to dust-off the intergalactic dreadlocks and direct the fifth movie in the Predator franchise.
The last film in the series was Shane Black’s The Predator. That 2018 film scored $166 million globally from an $80 million budget. This new film won’t follow on from Black’s pic.
The Predator franchise hasn’t really found its feet since John McTiernan’s 1987 Arnold Schwarzenegger starrer. The series has been all over the place since then with the Predator having faced-off against Danny Glover, Aliens and even Adrien Brody.
Frankly, I believe it’s time for Schwarzenegger to come back.
