The 15th Mayhem Film Festival kicks-off at Nottingham’s Broadway Cinema on Thursday 10 October. The festival will run until Sunday 13 and it will again unleash a mind-bending selection of horror and sci-fi movies.  Movies In Focus will again be on hand to survey the carnage over the festival’s four days. I can’t wait.

This year I’m particularly looking forward to seeing Nicolas Cage in Richard Stanley’s Color Out Of Space, The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil1967 Russian folk horror Viy, She Never Died (a companion piece to He Never Died, which screened in 2015) and Ant Timpson’s Come to Daddy. Also, the short film selection – always one of the highlights.
