It’s Coming Home! GAME OF THRONES Prequel To Shoot In Belfast This October

Belfast is the official home of Game of Thrones. The majority of the show is filmed in and round the city, with most of the interiors being shot in the Painthall Studios at the Titanic Quarter. Now comes news that the show’s spin-off prequel, which goes by the working title, The Long Night will shoot in the city this October.

Little is known about the new show, which was created by Jane Goldman and George R.R. Martin, other than it’s set hundreds or thousands of years before the current tales being told in HBO show. Expect more news and casting details as Game Of Thrones: The Long Night approaches it’s October shoot.

Winter is coming indeed.
