The release date for the fifth Indiana Jones film has been pushed back one year to 2021. The Steven Spielberg/Harrison Ford re-team is now set to open on July 9, 2021, a date which happens to be the day Movies In Focus turns 41 and four days before Harrison Ford turns 79-years old.
The delay apparently offers Jonathan Kasdan the opportunity to rewrite the script for the film and it gives Spielberg the chance to direct a remake of West Side Story and/or The Kidnapping of Edgardo Mortara.
You’d be a fool to think that this film is ever going to happen. At this stage, these release date for Indiana Jones 5 are just for Disney share holders.
I’ll eat my fedora if I’m wrong.
