GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY: We All Stand Together
The cast of Guardians Of The Galaxy have rallied behind writer-director James Gunn following his firing from the franchise by Disney. The cast (including Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Michael Rooker and Karen Gillan) put their names to the below open letter, which they shared on social media. Gunn was fired after decade old tweets were deemed inappropriate by Disney, throwing the comic book franchise into chaos.
Will Disney re-instate Gunn? Likely not – but if they don’t it’ll be interesting to see which of the signatories return to the series – if the Mouse House doesn’t mothball the whole endeavour and what for the inevitable reboot.
