George Clooney Producing (& Might Star In) BUCK ROGERS
It looks like George Cooney might heading back into orbit once more.
Clooney and his Smokehouse Pictures producing partner, Grant Heslov have signed-on as producers for Legendary’s Buck Rogers reboot. Clooney is also potentially taking on the lead role in the prestige limited series, which is being written by Brian K. Vaughan.
The character of Buck Rogers was created in the 1920s by Philip Francis Nowlan and was last seen onscreen in Buck Rogers In The 25th Century, a series which ran from 1979 to 1981 starring Gil Gerard.
Clooney is the perfect fit for Buck Rogers and while at 60 years old he might be a touch on the old side, he’s still be great in the role. Lets hope this pans out.
