The Force Is Strong With This First Trailer For ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY

There’s a lot going on in this trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. I don’t mean that in a bad way, there’s just a tremendous amount to take in when you’re seeing the first teaser trailer for the first non Skywalker-focused Star Wars movie.

Director Gareth Edwards looks to have thrown the kitchen sink into this prequel to A New Hope (it’s about rebels stealing the plans to the Death Star), giving fans even more of everything they wanted (Death Star, Star Destroyers, Stormtroopers and AT-ATs galore).

Felicity Jones is gets the majority of the screen-time, but we get to see snippets of the rest of the cast in action. Ben Mendelsohn also appears as a creepy Empire operative and it’s likely he’ll bring his usual uncomfortable screen persona to a galaxy far, far away.
